The Stratosphere Tower - destination - thrillseeker heaven

With names like Insanity, X-Scream and the Big Shot, what thrill rider can resist the temptation ? The Stratosphere Tower contains some of the west coast`s most thrilling rides. Part of the reason this is true, is because the rides are situated 1,149 feet in the air.

Insanity - The Ride extends 64 feet over the edge of The Stratosphere Tower and spin passengers at up to three G`s. As the ride spins faster and faster, the riders are propeled to a 70-degree angle. Riders experience the thrill of being flung over the edge of The Stratosphere Tower and literally facing downward at the City of Las Vegas below.

X-Scream is shaped like a giant teeter-totter. It is an open vehicle that propels riders head-first, 27 feet over the edge of The Stratosphere Tower and dangles them weightlessly above the Strip before pulling it`s riders back and over again for more!

The Big Shot thrill ride catapults 16 riders from the 921-foot high plataform up The Stratosphere Tower mast to a height of 1,081 feet. Traveling at 45 miles per hour, riders experience 4G`s as they reach the very top, and feel negative G`s on the way down.
