Vans Warped Tour 2011 Las Vegas

Renowned for bringing skate/punk/action sports and youth culture to the forefront on a global scale, the Vans Warped Tour 2011 is bringing its notorious festival to Las Vegas on Thursday, June 30 at the Plaza Hotel parking lot.

Main stage artists 3OH!3, A Day To Remember, The Devil Wears Prada and Asking Alexandria join an eclectic mix of hotly-tipped artists in punk, indie, metal and hardcore, to rock, pop, electronic, reggae and hip-hop. Additional 2011 Vegas tour acts include: Simple Plan, Less Than Jake, Against Me!, Pepper, Madina Lake, Dance Gavin Dance, Street Dogs, Lucero, We Came As Romans, Foxy Shazam, Woe Is Me, Black Veil Brides, Big Chocolate, MC Lars with Weerd Science, Every Avenue, The Ready Set, Winds of Plague, Hellogoodbye, The Wonder Years, The Word Alive, Big B., Relient K., Every Avenue, Go Radio, The Sheds, The Aggrolites and Unwritten Law plus many more.

More than 200 fans and industry were on hand to celebrate the VANS WARPED TOUR kick-off party and press conference on Friday, March 25 at the newly opened House of Vans--a 24,000 sq. foot indoor skate park and concert venue--in Brooklyn. VANS WARPED TOUR luminaries and friends joined Kevin Lyman and Steve Van Doren of Vans for the revelry including Anthony Civarelli (CIV/Gorilla Biscuits), Todd Friend (H20), Brendon Cohen (Vision of Disorder), artist and curator Arturo Vega, Geoff Rickley & Tucker (Thursday), Matt Watts (The Starting Line), Gabe Saporta (Cobra Starship), and more. Attendees were treated to electrifying live performances from School of Rock, Lionize, Moving Mountains, MC Lars and The Wonder Years, while legendary Vans Skate Team members including Ray Barbee, Christian Hosoi, Jeff Grosso and Steve Alba entertained guests with spectacular skating in the House of Vans bowl (see below). In addition, visual artist Kaves (Lordz of Brooklyn) performed a live art show for the crowd.
