![]() Wildlife HabitatThe Flamingo – Wildlife Habitat is made up of two main islands and a wide range of tropical trees and foliage which replicate the natural habitat of those species. For a break from the chaos of Vegas and a touch of enchantment, you can walk around the venue and breathe in the fresh air of several waterfalls and streams. In addition to Chilean flamingos, the Wildlife Habitat Vegas features other exotic bird types including Australian black swans, parrots, and ducks. There is also a Gambel's quail, an Impeyn, silver pheasants, and a group of penguins (on loan from the Dallas Zoo). A great collection of turtles enriches the whole experience. Lagoons and waterways provide a serene experience and allow you to relax and take a break from the slot machines and nightclubs. Sitting on a bench or looking over the bridges into the peaceful brooks around provides you with the ultimate escape and a small dose of tranquility in a city chock-full of extremes. It also makes for a great photo opportunity, especially with the kids. Best of all, the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat is free and open to all Vegas visitors. LOCATION 3555 S.
