Crown Theater announces new tribute acts

Crown Theater, Las Vegas’ newest entertainment complex located inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino announces new tribute acts to be performing this summer. All shows listed are currently on sale.


Tribute shows on sale include Bruce in the USA, Cash’d Out, 40oz to Freedom and Who’s Bad


Date: Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 8:00 p.m.

Ticket Prices: $17, additional ticket charges may apply

Artist Info: With more than 100 songs in its repertoire, this Johnny Cash tribute band has a song to represent all ages and genres. Celebrate and remember the “Man in Black.”


Date: Sunday, July 4, 2010, at 8:00 p.m.

Ticket Prices: $12, additional ticket charges may apply

Artist Info: Embodying the spirit of the punk-ska band Sublime, this tribute group urges the crowd to kick back and rock along. The band’s energy will have the audience celebrating in good company of Sublime fans on Independence Day.


Date: Friday, August 6, 2010, at 8:00 p.m.

Ticket Prices: $18, additional ticket charges may apply

Artist Info: Known as “The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band,” Who’s Bad plays three decades of Jackson’s chart-topping hits. The performance is sure to wow crowds with its likeness to the King of Pop’s concerts complete with complex dance routines, full band and glittering gloves.

Tickets can be purchased via or by calling the Rio Box Office at 1-888-746-7784. Additional ticket charges may apply. The Rio Box Office is open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.

All concerts are 21 and over unless otherwise noted. Doors are at 7:30 p.m. and show time is at 8:00 p.m.
