Adrenaline junkies the world over are likely already familiar with the Vegas New York New York roller coaster ride. An integral part of the Las Vegas skyline, it is one of the most filmed and photographed attractions in Vegas, and has been featured on TV shows such as CSI.

Travelling at a speed of up to 67mph (108 km/h), the Vegas NY NY roller coaster rises up to 203 feet (62m) and drops over 144 feet (44m) with many turns, dives and twists in between, including the notorious “heartline” twist. Riders can enjoy the experience of negative Gs, corkscrews and breathtaking drops, while taking in the familiar views of the Vegas Strip as they whiz past. The many loops and turns are impressive, challenging even those who are accustomed to high-energy, adrenaline fuelled rides.

As if that isn’t enough, all riders on the New York Roller Coaster Vegas get their picture taken while travelling through the “heartline” twist. Those who are brave enough to check out their photo can take it home with them (for a price).

Those not daring enough to enjoy the thrills offered by the ride itself can at least enjoy the sight of this iconic Vegas attraction when crossing the pedestrian bridge at the intersection of the Vegas Strip and Tropicana Avenue.

Because of its fame and notoriety, the Vegas New York New York roller coaster is a popular place to hold weddings. Wedding packages are available for both day and evening rides, offering the ultimate thrill wedding for couples and their guests.

Tickets start at $14 for individuals and $60 for families. Ride packages are available.
